Antique 3 Pc Vanity Set Denmark Jorgen Th Steffensen Silverplate High Relief

Description

This is an antique vanity set consisting of a handheld mirror, oval hinged box and comb.  Each is silver-plated high-relief from Denmark by Jorgen Th Steffensen.  The oval box has a pair of musical cherubs sitting in a floral garden.  One is playing the violin and the other a horn.  The front depicts two cherubs dancing and surrounded by flowers.  It has the original silk lining which is very worn.  The dimensions are:  7" Wide x 5" Deep x 3" High.  Beautiful details but lots of tarnish.
The handheld mirror is silver-plated 11" High x 7" Wide.  The back has a floral pattern around the rim and extends down the handle.  In the middle are the initials "Mc". It has a scalloped edge with three-tiers.  The oval beveled mirror is in great shape.  Such a gorgeous antique piece.
Lastly, the tortoise shell comb comes in silver-plated high-relief case that depicts scenes of men drinking around a barrel, playing music, and having a great time.  The comb has a floral 1-1/4" silver-plated piece on the top middle rim to hold on to. It fits nicely into the case when not in use.  The case is 5" Wide x 1-1/4" High.
