Offered for sale is this fine Danish cream ladle in a shell pattern with a gold washed bowl with a spout. It bears the Danish hallmarks of August Thomsen and is dated 1918. It also bears the Three Tower mark, which in 1918 guaranteed an 826 silver standard, the Assay Master initials of Christian F Heise, and the shield shaped mark of the Dansk Arbedje, a trade association. The cream ladle is 5 3/4 inches long. It weighs 25 grams (shipping weight under 1 lb). No monogram or removal.
Condition: very good with patina of previous use and polishing. No breaks or repairs.
