This bonsai soil mix is composed of lava rock and pine bark, the mix is perfect for most bonsai trees with the exception of pines and very mature junipers. The mix is good for bougainvillea, Fukien tea, crape myrtle, podocarps, buttonwoods, jades, jasmines, azaleas, maples, cypress, elms, sérissa, loropetalum, juniper and many other. This mix has a balanced Ph and it allows for root growth, peculation and the overall health of the tree. We believe that this is a great mix but not perfect for all trees, as every tree has different needs. We can tailor soils at your request.
