  • Condition: This elegant spoon is in aged condition with beautiful patina! Danish TWO TOWERS hallmark stamp was only used on Danish silver plate from the 1890s to the 1930s.     Description

    Elegant Old Danish Silver Plated GIANT Serving Spoon.
    Measures approximately 14-1/4 inches long. Hallmarked with the well-known TWO TOWERS Danish stamp of authenticity for silver plated pieces. This Danish stamp was only used from circa the 1890s to the 1930s. This collectible is also stamped with the letter P inside of a circle. This P stamp stands for PLET in Danish, or plated. Note the gorgeous hand-hammered silver work on the handle! The end of the handle has a sophisticated triangular shape. This spoon features an old-fashioned, detailed beaded rope-like design in the center of the handle, just gorgeous!
    This huge spoon is rather heavy and weighs 7.8 ounces, UNPACKED.
    The mouth of the spoon measures appx 4-7/8 inches long and 3-5/16 inches wide.
