    Description

    For sale is a fine old Danish cup top tea strainer with a hammered surface, dated 1920.  The piece is 6 1/2 inches long and weighs 60 grams.  The bowl is 3 1/2 inches wide, including a 5/8 inch wide flat lip.  The whole piece is finely hammered, with beaded handle decoration.  It has never been monogrammed.  The piece is marked with a Copenhagen date mark for 1920 and the assay master’s mark; there is no maker’s mark
    Condition on the strainer is quite good.  There are a few stubborn spots, minor bowl dents and normal wear from use.  A nice old piece of Danish silver!
