Offered for sale, fresh to market, is this rare 1926 solid silver (830/1000 Fine) hand hammered Danish modernist August Thomsen large beaker. It is in great antique condition with fine soft age acquired patina. There are no dents/dings to the body, but there is some denting around the base. This gorgeous piece meas. approx. 4 3/4" tall by 3 1/4" across the top. It is crafted of a thick gauge of solid silver weighing in at 121+ grams. It is inscribed and hallmarked as shown. The fine patina is present as it has never been machine buffed. This beautiful piece of Modernist hand hammered hollowware will make a great addition to any collection of the finest Danish sterling silver.
