In March 1930, Pan Am, and Guatemalan Post had finalized a contract that authorized Pan Am to carry airmail from Guatemala to countries in Central America and Caribbean.
Cover carried with the first southbound service to Puntarenas, Costa Rica (via San Jose), with March 18 Correo Aereo receiver on front and back. Muller 21, 600 points, 231 covers flown. AAMC F8-30d.
