Large Antique Silver Mounted Nordic Viking Drinking Horn Sweden On Silver Stand
A great old Scandinavian Drinking Horn handmade from Sweden. This looks to be in silver plate. We can not find any silver marks.
Stands an impressive 13 1/4" tall by about 11 1/2" wide. See photos for details. No makers marks. great details and looks very impressive. I tried to write the inscription. The name might not be correct, kinda hard to read. See below.
I'm pretty sure the inscription reads:
"Till Ossian Lindblom minne af bröllopsdag från kamrater i Thule Bolag"
Which basically means this was a a wedding gift from some friends at maybe the Thule company in Sweden.
