(SETUP)
(1) Rinse off the clay pebbles thoroughly with water
(2) Spread a (1 1/2" to 2") layer of pebbles in the bottom of your pot or enclosure
(3) Lay a mesh divider on top of pebbles to separate a second layer if needed / You may skip this step if it doesn't apply
(4) Add a second (1 1/2" to 2") substrate layer of your choosing on top of the pebbles / You may skip this step if it doesn't apply
(5) Place plants in the substrate & watch the pebbles work there magic
