  • Condition: This piece has been hand polished for your immediate use. It does have a fancy script monogram on the back of the handle. There are no dents, bends or repairs. The surfaces are clean with use marks and light scratches. It has a small dark spot in the monogram area. The gold gilding is in very good condition.

    Description

    Up for sale is a decorative serving spoon made by the Norwegian maker T.H. Marthinsen.  The uniquely shaped bowl is gold washed on the interior and has a detailed banner engraving.  We do not know the pattern name but it has a wonderful trailing rose decoration.  The overall length of the piece is 9 1/2” and the bowl measures about 2 1/4" across the widest portion.  Its approximate weight is 56 grams.  The back of the handle reads 830S plus the old symbol for T.H. Marthinsen and LA.
    This piece has been hand polished for your immediate use.
    It does have a fancy script monogram on the back of the handle.
    There are no dents, bends or repairs.
    The surfaces are clean with use marks and light scratches.
    It has a small dark spot in the monogram area.
    The gold gilding is in very good condition.
