Michelsen Sterling Coffee Pot & Teapot Desd by Erik Herlow Denmark Modernist MCM

Description

This vintage modernist Sterling Silver coffee pot and teapot are in excellent condition, as if they were never put to use. The delicate turned finials are like new, as is the cane wrapping on the handles. The only flaws in the silver are a tiny ding in the coffee pot, like a minute pimple and a small shallow bump on the spout of the same piece (see the close-ups below, last 2 photos). These were designed by Erik Herlow and made in Denmark by A. Michelsen. The coffee pot measures 8.5'' tall and the teapot measures 6.5'' tall, both measured to the top of the looping handle.
