Description

This product is a result of composted organic and heirloom apple wood chippings and
then processed  through a fine screen (about the size of a window screen).
So for the most part, it's very, very fine
rich, dark, silky
material with the exception of
some very small wood chips.
Makes an excellent soil amendment for potted & bedding plants, garden, etc.
Photo closely depicts the actual product with
the dime giving
you a good idea of actually how small the particles are.
If ordering multiple quantities, the 3rd photo shows how nicely 6 lbs. fits into a 2-gallon zippy bag.
The original apple wood chippings were made from small and medium branches of almost wild
(left to grow naturally) 45+ year old organic apple trees.  These were processed through wood chipper
resulting in a mix of chippings, chunks, shavings, shreddings (including the bark) & fine material.
The mix was then screened to derive at this superfine product.
