    Description

    For sale is a pair of Danish modern wire basket form sterling salt cellars with cobalt glass liners, signed Christgau.  The salts are about 2 ¼ inches tall by 2 1/8 inches in diameter and the silver pieces together weigh 43 grams.  They have flat ring bases with looped wire sides and twisted wire handles.  The cylindrical liners are made of dark blue glass.  They have never been monogrammed.  The salts are marked with a trademark, “CHRISTGAU / EXPORT”, “MADE IN / DENMARK”, and “STERLING”  as shown.


    Condition on the dishes is fairly good.  There are some minor edge dings and bends and normal wear.  Some nice Danish modernist salts.
