Rare Georg Jensen Sigvard Bernadotte Sterling Silver Letter Opener

For your consideration is a very rare and desirable Georg Jensen sterling Letter Opener Designed by Sigvard Bernadotte, circa 1940’s. Really neat cylindrical, ribbed Modernist handle. The piece has some condition issues: two dents on the handle (see photos #5, #6, #7), and the tip of the blade is bent and a bit scoffed up (see photos #8, #9, #10). No other real issues, just regular wear from use (a few tiny nicks here and there). The Opener has not been monogramed, and I leave the polishing of this Piece to the discretion of the future Buyer. Marked: “GEORG JENSEN “ in a beaded circle, “STERLING DENMARK “, and “SIGVARD BERNADOTTE” in script. Length: 9 Inches. Weight: 90 Grams. Pa Buyers must pay 6% state sales tax unless tax exempt.
