Description

the candlestick
pattern 741 (from base). designed by johan rohde in 1931, it was produced by georg jensen silversmiths from  1945-77. jensen silversmiths did not produce very many candlesticks. what i love about it is it's no more than it needs to be. not large or audacious. silver is *not* weighted: candlestick weighs a little over 3 ounces.

condition notes
i cannot detect any issues. up to next caretaker if they wish to polish silver (i left it unpolished because i thought it looked good with the pearl blue candle that i have in it). there is wax residue in the bowl (see last image: that just helps the candle stay snug--it can be removed).
