    Description

    This is a demitasse spoon by the Norwegian designer Thorvald Marthinsen.  He also designed and made items for Sweden as in this case.  This spoon is from Sweden and is a souvenir/commemorative item from Goteborg.  The spoon is 4 inches in length and is made of 830S silver.  The handle of the spoon is topped by a crown motif and the Swedish lion symbol of its royal house.  Down the shaft are the embossed letters of Goteborg.  This spoon has a tan coating, not enamel, on the top and the shaft of the spoon so the embossed items shine through this coating.  The hallmark shows the national mark for Sweden, 830S and the mark for Marthinsen.  There is no date mark for this item.  It is in excellent condition.  Ship to US only by USPS.
