    Description

    Up for bid is a modernist sterling paisley-shaped dish designed by Herlow for A. Michelsen of Denmark.  The piece is  1 1/8 inches tall by 5 3/8 inches long and weighs 114 grams.  It has steep sides and tapers to a tab handle at the narrow end.  It has not been monogrammed.  It is marked [A.MICHELSEN / COPENHAGEN], “K9” “® D”, [STERLING / DENMARK], with “HERLOW” in a flower.
    Condition on the piece is good. It has been lightly buffed to remove some spots.  A nice piece of Danish modernist silver.
